Referrals
Self-referral
You are very welcome to contact me directly to arrange an initial consultation. You do not need to know what type of therapy you are looking for in advance.
How it works
- You contact me and briefly outline what has been happening
- We arrange an initial consultation
- Together we decide the most helpful next steps
Insurance providers
If you are using an insurance provider such as Bupa, you will usually be given an authorisation code and an approved number of sessions before therapy begins.
Typically you will
- Contact your insurance provider for authorisation
- Receive an authorisation code and session allocation
- Book an appointment and provide the code
Cancellations
- Cancellations with more than 72 hours’ notice: no charge
- Less than 72 hours’ notice: the full fee will apply
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible.
Confidentiality
Therapy is confidential, with the usual professional exceptions. If there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else, confidentiality may need to be broken to keep people safe. This is discussed clearly in the initial consultation.
